FUURAA™ · FROM EVIDENCE TO SYSTEMS

From research evidence to engineering direction and public products

Use three public layers and four checkpoints to read FUURAA research, build maps and product records without mistaking relevant research, engineering exploration or a prototype for a live product capability.

Applicability boundary

This is a public reading map—not FUURAA’s internal development process, roadmap or release commitment.

There is no automatic promotion between layers. Research may remain research, engineering directions may change, and product status can only be confirmed by a dated official public record.

Scope statementThis page adds no capabilities, release dates, prices, customers, partners, financing, legal conclusions or product availability, and it does not replace official product pages.

Three public layers

Connect research, engineering and products while keeping each layer independently legible.

01

Research evidence

What this layer shows
A dated paper, dataset, standard, policy record or observed signal that helps define a question and its uncertainty.
Before the next layer
A reproducible problem statement, named assumptions, relevant constraints and evidence strong enough to justify further investigation.
Stop the inference
Research relevance does not establish that FUURAA has built, selected or committed to a product.
02

Engineering direction

What this layer shows
A mapped capability, architecture or development area that may be explored, prototyped, integrated or tested.
Before the next layer
Evidence from relevant environments, defined failure conditions, safety and privacy controls, operational ownership and a credible path to validation.
Stop the inference
A build map or prototype is not evidence of public availability, commercial readiness, partnership or completion.
03

Public product status

What this layer shows
A named product record with an explicit status, official route, public scope and dated evidence of availability.
Before the next layer
Readers should verify the exact status—Public Beta, In Development, research direction or long-term vision—and follow the official product record.
Stop the inference
Public Beta is open testing, not a promise of feature completeness, universal availability or a future release schedule.

Four checkpoints

Before extending a claim, check its evidence, context, validation gap and public status.

01

Evidence trace

Reader question
Can the claim be traced to a dated source, test record, official product page or public progress entry?
Applicable boundary
An undated description cannot by itself establish maturity or availability.
02

Relevant context

Reader question
What people, system, environment, jurisdiction and operating conditions does the evidence actually cover?
Applicable boundary
A result in one laboratory, benchmark or sector should not be generalized without further evidence.
03

Validation gap

Reader question
What remains untested: integration, reliability, safety, privacy, human oversight, operations or maintenance?
Applicable boundary
A prototype can demonstrate possibility while leaving deployment-critical questions open.
04

Public status

Reader question
Does the page name a status and link to the official record that supports it?
Applicable boundary
Forecast language and architectural direction must not replace a product-status label.

Named sources

Every method source keeps its publication date, evidence status, applicable boundary and FUURAA analysis attached.

Published 27 September 2023 · Public institutional sourceNASA Technology Readiness Levels

Evidence statusAn official nine-level measurement system for describing the maturity of a technology through progressively more relevant demonstrations.

Applicable boundaryThe scale is rooted in space systems and does not by itself assess market demand, organisational readiness, safety, ethics or product availability.

FUURAA analysisUse readiness levels as a reminder to ask what was demonstrated and under which conditions—not as a substitute for a FUURAA product status.

Published 22 October 2018 · Public institutional sourceOECD/Eurostat Oslo Manual 2018

Evidence statusAn international measurement framework that distinguishes innovation activities from implemented innovations and defines consistent terminology.

Applicable boundaryIt is a statistical and conceptual manual; it does not certify a specific technology, product, company process or commercial outcome.

FUURAA analysisUse the distinction between activity and implementation to avoid presenting research or development work as a completed public outcome.

Published 26 January 2023 · Public institutional sourceNIST AI Risk Management Framework 1.0

Evidence statusA voluntary, rights-preserving and use-case-agnostic framework for governing, mapping, measuring and managing AI risk.

Applicable boundaryApplying or citing the framework does not establish that a system is safe, trustworthy, compliant or ready for public use.

FUURAA analysisUse it to keep context, affected people, measurement and residual risk visible at every transition from evidence to system.

FUURAA analysis

Real continuity comes from traceable evidence—not from turning a continuous narrative into assumed maturity.

Analysis conclusionReaders should be able to move from a public claim back to its evidence, applicable conditions, unvalidated parts and official status. The relationship between research, engineering and products becomes publicly meaningful only when that record remains intact.
