Control the BOM

Record part identity, revision, quantity, approved manufacturer, alternatives, lifecycle, lead time, unit cost and incoming inspection.

Design for assembly and service

Reduce ambiguous orientation, inaccessible fasteners, cable damage, calibration drift and service steps that require undocumented skill.

Preserve the as-built state

Record serials, firmware, parameters, torques, calibration, deviations and rework so test evidence points to the actual machine.

Prepare repeatable quality

Define critical characteristics, process capability, fixtures, end-of-line tests, traceability, packaging, transport and field service.

Every answer should carry evidence, not only ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
